Our Impact

Master Foods Lab has partnered with Camila's House donating products daily that don't meet the standards of our Quality Assurance team. Camila's House does much more than offer a free meal, medical care, a shower, or drug treatment. They offer a second chance to the desperate, the lonely, and the ones society has left behind.

Team

MICHAEL ALFARO

FOUNDER & CEO

Michael Alfaro is a serial entrepreneur graduating top of his class from Florida International University. Starting in the health and wellness industry, Michael brought CrossFit to Miami in 2007. From 2007 to 2015 he grew this business to 15 gyms worldwide alongside a partnership with shoe manufacturer Reebok. Opening the first Reebok CrossFit in Miami Beach, New York, Dubai, and more.
In 2015 Michael pivoted his business and pioneered a live and on-demand video platform for fitness - NEOU. With a 20,000 sqft hub on 5th Ave and 37th in NYC aimed at helping brands, trainers, and fitness influencers digitize their offerings while sharing in the revenue generated by their content. Currently today NEOU services over 100,000 customers across 80+ fitness brands, and 20+ countries.
In 2020, Michael set his eyes on the health food trends, better-for-you foods, and the CPG market for functional foods, specifically snacks. In 2021 Master Foods Lab was born, within a short few months our products created an impressive buzz across the health and wellness industry. "Today we are scaling as fast as we can to keep up with the demand."

MILENY GONZALEZ

OPERATIONS

Mileny started her career in 2009 in the health care industry after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. During her time in healthcare, working for Baptist Hospital she quickly rose through the ranks and obtained a position as an Operational Manager where she grew her department from two locations to nine locations in four years. Her experience in healthcare has led her to have incredible customer service skills, operational expertise, an eye for hiring team members, interpersonal relationships within departments, and experiences in a multitude of areas such as project management, construction, information technology, human resources, and quality control. In 2019, Mileny received her master’s in administration from Barry University in order to solidify her career and to pursue continued growth opportunities.

BRIANA HERNANDEZ

BAKER

At an early age, this rising star in the industry; graduated top 10% of her high school at Robert Morgan educational academy of culinary arts. Then pursued more education post high school at Johnson and Wales University graduating with a bachelors in baking and food management with honors. After college Briana worked for the world famous Hard Rock Hotel located in Miami, FL. As pastry chef of Council Oak restaurant and the hotel’s chocolatier. Spending many critical years in the trenches of the baking industry earning her stripes and building a reputation of perfection. Our head of baking continued to fine tune her skills by advancing her education from an in-depth understanding of fine arts and science to French sourdough bread and croissants. In 2021 Briana leveraged her years of culinary experience to yet again level up, becoming a lead player in the funcitonal food contract manufacturing space, joining Master Foods Lab.
